EMIMEO Update. COVID-19 statement for the 2020-2021 academic year

Since the Covid-19 outbreak, the EMIMEO consortium has continued to implement academic activities and mobility tracks according to the EACEA rulings. For instance, we’re complying with the 2020.03.23.EMJMD Note on Covid 19
The European Commission has also dedicated a specific page on the EACEA website about the EACEA’s responses to Covid-19

 

The academic activities in the frame of EMIMEO are running in all the partner universities as originally planned on our website.

  • Université de Limoges

Face-to-face classes were organised from September 2020 to the end of October 2021. We also broadcasted the lectures in live stream for the students who were not able to get their visa on time due to the covid-19 pandemic. With regards to the second Covid-19 lockdown in France, most of the classes were running online from November 2020 to January 2021. From March 2021, the students are authorised to perform their internships at the Laboratory Xlim.

  • Università degli Study di Brescia

Professors were allowed to teach face-to-face lectures from September 2020 to the beginning of November 2020. With regards to the new restrictions in Italy to fight against the second wave of the Covid-19, all the learning activities were remotely performed from beginning November 2020.

  • Universidad del País Vasco / Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea

The students were able to follow face-to-face classes during the first semester at UPV/EHU. The lectures were organised according to am the Covid-19 ruling at the Basque Country and Spain. All the information related to the Covid-19 updates at UPV/EHU are online

  • Aston University

The students were following online classes during all the academic terms.
